Two-Factor Authentication

Enable 2FA for extra account security.

Last updated: 8/26/2026•0 views

Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring a second verification step in addition to your password. Even if someone obtains your password, they cannot access your account without the second factor.

How to enable

  1. Go to Settings > Security.
  2. Click Enable 2FA.
  3. Follow the setup instructions. This typically involves scanning a QR code with an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or 1Password.
  4. Enter the verification code generated by the app to confirm setup.
  5. Save the backup codes provided. Store these codes in a safe place in case you lose access to your authenticator app.

Supported authenticator apps

Tendisha supports any standard TOTP authenticator app, including Google Authenticator, Authy, 1Password, LastPass, and Microsoft Authenticator. Choose an app that you are comfortable with and that you can access reliably.

What to do if you lose access

If you lose access to your authenticator app, use one of the backup codes you saved during setup. If you have lost your backup codes, contact support for assistance with account recovery. This process may require identity verification to ensure the security of your account.
