Submitting your proposal is the final step in the tender process. While Tendisha helps you create and export professional proposals, the actual submission is typically done through the tendering platforms or email, depending on the clients requirements.
Before submitting
Take the time to verify that everything is in order before sending your proposal. Rushed submissions often contain errors that could have been avoided with a quick review.
- Run Compliance Check to ensure all mandatory requirements are addressed. The Compliance Check compares your proposal against the tenders requirements and highlights any gaps.
- Review all sections for accuracy, completeness, and professionalism. Check for typos, grammatical errors, and formatting inconsistencies.
- Verify all required documents are included. This may include certificates, CVs, financial statements, and references. Ensure they are up to date and relevant.
- Confirm that the pricing is correct and consistent throughout the proposal.
- Ensure that all team members mentioned in the proposal are aware of their inclusion and have approved their details.
Submission methods
Tenders may require submission through different channels:
- Online portals — Many government and large organizations use online tender portals. Upload your exported PDF or DOCX file through the portal.
- Email — Some tenders require submission via email. Send your proposal to the specified email address with the subject line and formatting specified in the tender.
- Physical delivery — Rarely, tenders require physical copies. Print and bind your proposal according to the tender specifications and deliver it to the specified address before the deadline.
After submission
Once you have submitted your proposal, update the tender status in Tendisha to Submitted. This helps you track your bidding pipeline and ensures that team members know the proposal is no longer in progress. Keep a record of the submission confirmation, tracking number, or receipt for future reference.
