Proposal generation may fail for several reasons. Understanding these reasons helps you resolve issues quickly and produce high-quality proposals.
Common causes
- Incomplete company profile — The AI needs sufficient information about your company to generate proposals. Ensure that you have added services, projects, team members, and certifications.
- Insufficient AI action quota — Each proposal generation consumes AI actions from your monthly quota. If you have reached your limit, you will need to wait until the next billing cycle or upgrade your plan.
- Tender analysis not completed — Proposal generation works best when the tender has been analyzed first. Run analysis to extract requirements and evaluation criteria before generating proposals.
- System temporarily unavailable — AI providers occasionally experience downtime. Wait a few minutes and try again.
Troubleshooting steps
- Verify that your company profile is complete. Check the Company Profile page and add any missing information.
- Check your AI action quota in Settings > Usage. If you have reached your limit, consider upgrading or purchasing a Tender Pack.
- Run Tender Analysis on the opportunity before generating proposals.
- Try generating a shorter section first, such as the Executive Summary, to test the system.
- If the error persists, contact support with details of the error and the tender you are working on.
